Hi! I am Yaren. I am a graduate student of bioinformatics program at Hacettepe University, and a project personnel working in bioinformatics field at Turkish Health Institute. I completed my bachelor’s degree at Yildiz Technical University in physics program. My motivation was to understand both biological and mechanical systems. However, while I was an undergraduate student, I noticed only physics is not enough for biological process explanations. Therefore, I gravitated towards the biological data, and it got me into the bioinformatics. Through the journey, I started working at BaysanLab. Currently, I try to understand biological processes through biological data and physics. My research interests are molecular biophysics, quantum biophysics, and bioinformatics (heavily structural bioinformatics).
